Meet The Baker

Hi Everyone, Purple Velvet was formed in June 2020. I have been overwhelmed by your response and I’m so grateful for all the love and support of the community 💜

I graduated from university in Liverpool in 2003 with a Degree in Home Economics, many years after my passion for baking began. This gave me the skill to fully explore the science of baking, psychology of food and mixology of flavours to bring you the best home made bakes. Each one made with love and a nod to the nostalgia of the tastes of our childhoods.
